Are abdominal belts helpful for postpartum recovery?

Abdominal belts or traditional saree binding may provide temporary support for a weak back in the very early stages of postpartum recovery. However, they should not be considered a permanent solution for core strength. After the first 4–6 weeks, it is much more effective to focus on rebuilding your deep core and pelvic floor strength through targeted exercises and physiotherapy rather than relying on external support.
