Could a fever 6 days after Varicella and MMR vaccination be related?

While it is common for babies to develop a mild fever within 2-3 days following the Varicella and MMR vaccines, a fever appearing 6 days later is less commonly associated with the vaccination itself. It is possible your baby has picked up a separate viral bug, which is common in social environments. Monitor the fever, keep the baby hydrated, and consult your pediatrician to rule out other infections or to confirm if this requires further attention.
