Do babies need "sitting training" gear?

While floor seats are marketed as tools to help babies learn to sit, many parents find them unnecessary and often end up as clutter. Pediatric experts generally suggest that babies do not require formal training; they will naturally reach milestones like sitting, crawling, and walking through unstructured play and consistent tummy time. Instead of using restrictive seats, you can support your baby's development by placing interesting, safe objects nearby to encourage movement or using a pregnancy pillow for gentle support during supervised floor time.
