Engaging a newborn properly
Newborns have very limited vision and attention spans, so it is best to have only one person interacting with them at a time to prevent overstimulation. Keep playtime short, as their wake windows are very brief. Focus on gentle eye contact and talking to help them focus. If multiple people are present, encourage them to take turns engaging with the baby rather than crowding around at once.
