FAQ Sleep 3-6 months6-12 months

How can I help my baby sleep better during a period of frequent night wakings?

Sleep disruptions are very common around the 4-8 month mark due to developmental leaps, teething, or motor skill practice. Try creating a calm evening routine, such as a warm bath or quiet music, and dim the lights at least 45 minutes before bedtime to help regulate their circadian rhythm. If the wakings become frequent, focus on soothing techniques like patting or gentle singing rather than immediate feeding to help them learn to settle back to sleep on their own.
