How can I make international travel with an infant easier without a bassinet?

Travel can be challenging, but parents often use their own C-shaped feeding pillow cover stuffed with airline blankets or jackets to create a comfortable, familiar sleep surface on their lap. Alternatively, bringing a standard bed pillow with a fresh cover works well for head support. Feeding during takeoff and landing can help alleviate ear pain, and if you are booking seats, aiming for an aisle and window combo increases your chances of having an empty middle seat for extra space.
