How can I make iron drops easier for my baby to take?

Many babies reject iron drops due to the taste or texture. You can try administering the drops in small quantities into the inner cheek using a dropper or a nipple medicine dispenser to avoid them spitting it out. Some parents find success by mixing the drops into a small amount of expressed breast milk or consulting their pediatrician to see if a different brand with a different composition might be better tolerated.
