FAQ Feeding 6-12 months

How do I help my baby transition to solids through baby-led weaning?

When starting baby-led weaning, remember that it is normal for your baby to consume only a teaspoon or two of food initially. To minimize spillage, place only small amounts of food on their tray and refill as they eat. Allow them to stop when they show signs of disinterest, such as looking away or throwing food. You can help by loading a spoon and offering it to them initially, which helps them build the confidence to feed themselves over time.
