How do I manage a toddler’s diaper rash that isn't responding to standard creams?

If standard zinc-based creams are ineffective, try switching to cold-pressed coconut oil, which is naturally soothing and helps restore the skin barrier. Ensure you are giving your toddler plenty of 'diaper-free' time to let the skin breathe and moisture evaporate. If you use wipes, consider switching to a portable bidet or gentle rinsing with water to avoid the chemicals in pre-moistened wipes. If the rash is persistent, red, or looks infected, consult your pediatrician, as it may require a prescription-strength barrier cream or treatment for a fungal infection.
