How long can I postpone a baby's vaccine due to illness?

If your baby is unwell, such as having a fever or diarrhea, it is standard to delay a vaccine until they are recovered. Generally, you can safely postpone a vaccine for up to four weeks. If the delay impacts the schedule for subsequent vaccinations, your doctor may simply shift the next appointment dates to maintain the required gaps between doses.
