For sipper bottles, a thorough cleaning is usually sufficient. If the sipper material is heat-safe, you can sterilize it occasionally (every few days). Otherwise, use a dedicated bottle-cleaning liquid and a brush to scrub the components every alternate day. Steel sippers, which cannot be sterilized, are kept perfectly clean with regular thorough washing.
