Is a decrease in weight gain normal at 5 months?

It is very common for the rate of weight gain to slow down around the 3 to 5-month mark. As long as your baby is tracking along their established growth percentile curve provided by your pediatrician, there is usually no cause for concern. Growth is rarely linear, so try to focus on the overall trend rather than daily fluctuations.
