Is it normal for a toddler to experience lice, and how should it be managed?

Lice infestations are unfortunately common when children enter group settings like school or daycare. To manage them, use a pediatrician-approved anti-lice shampoo specifically formulated for children, ensuring you carefully comb through the hair with a fine-toothed lice comb to remove all eggs (nits) after the wash. It is often recommended to treat everyone in the household to prevent re-infestation, and you should continue to check your child’s scalp periodically to ensure the infestation has completely cleared.
