Is it normal to lose weight while breastfeeding, or should I be worried?

It is completely normal for weight loss trends to vary among breastfeeding mothers; some lose weight rapidly, while others may hold onto it, and some even experience weight gain. Factors like water retention, caloric intake, and metabolic changes play a significant role, and it is common for weight to fluctuate day-to-day. As long as you are maintaining your health, taking required supplements like iron and calcium, and your doctor isn't concerned, there is no need to stress. Focus on nutrient-dense foods and rest rather than forcing weight loss, which can sometimes impact milk supply.
