Is it okay for my baby to sleep on their stomach once they can roll over?
If your baby rolls onto their stomach on their own during sleep, you do not need to wake them to turn them back. Ensure their sleeping surface is firm and that the crib is completely free of loose blankets, pillows, or toys, which could pose a suffocation risk. Continue to place them on their back for the start of every sleep period, but once they demonstrate the ability to roll both ways, they can safely choose their own position.
