Is it safe to delay starting solids if my baby isn't showing full readiness?
If your baby isn't quite meeting the standard milestones for starting solids at 6 months—such as holding their head up or showing interest in food—it is perfectly fine to wait a week or two. Every baby develops at their own pace. If you choose to wait, ensure they are still getting adequate nutrition from milk, and keep an eye on their development. Starting slightly later does not hinder their long-term growth.
