Is it safe to travel to high-altitude areas like Leh with a toddler?

It is strongly recommended to avoid traveling to high-altitude destinations like Leh with a toddler. The environment is extremely taxing even for fit adults, and children are particularly susceptible to altitude sickness, which can be dangerous and difficult to manage. Many parents suggest saving these types of trips for when your child is significantly older and better able to acclimatize.
