Keeping baby safe from falls while learning to crawl

It is common for infants to tumble frequently while they are perfecting their motor skills. To create a safer environment, cover your designated play area with thick play mats or carpets, and consider layering them for extra cushioning. While active supervision is always necessary, restricting their movement to a "baby-proofed" zone with plenty of soft padding can help minimize the impact if they do fall.
