FAQ Feeding 1-2 years

Should I add salt to my toddler's meals?

Salt intake should be very limited for toddlers. While there isn't a strict requirement to add salt to every meal, you can introduce very small amounts of sodium as they transition to family foods after age one. Focus on flavorful, natural additions like herbs, garlic, hing, or jeera powder instead of salt to enhance their food. Always consult your pediatrician for specific guidance based on your child's dietary needs.
