What are effective ways to protect a newborn from mosquitoes while traveling?

When traveling to areas with high mosquito activity, it is best to use a multi-layered approach. Use mosquito patches on the baby's clothes (avoiding the face and areas they might mouth), or apply a fabric-safe insect repellent spray to the carrycot, crib, or clothing. Using a physical mosquito net whenever the baby is sleeping provides the most reliable protection. If you are staying indoors, mosquito repellent machines can be effective, but ensure the room is well-ventilated.
