What are some practical ways to handle toddler nosebleeds during summer?

Nosebleeds in children are common during the hot summer months due to the drying effect of heat on the nasal passages. To prevent them, ensure your child stays well-hydrated throughout the day and avoid exposing them to direct, peak-hour sunlight. If a nosebleed occurs, have your child sit upright and lean slightly forward, then apply firm pressure to the soft part of the nose for several minutes. While keeping them cool is essential, avoid over-focusing on the nosebleed to keep the child calm, and consult your pediatrician if bleeding is frequent, heavy, or does not stop after 10-15 minutes of continuous pressure.
