What are the common causes of breast stinging or engorgement, and how can I manage it?

Engorgement is often caused by the breasts not being fully emptied or by wearing a bra that is too tight. A stinging sensation, whether while touching or at random, is frequently associated with engorgement. To find relief, try a warm compress or a warm bath to loosen the milk, followed by nursing or pumping to empty the breast. If you are struggling with chronic engorgement, ensure your bra is not too restrictive, and consider consulting a lactation consultant for personalized guidance.
