FAQ Travel 0-3 months

What do I need to know about taking a 3-month-old to a passport appointment?

Taking an infant to a passport office requires some extra preparation as the baby's presence is mandatory. In cities like Bangalore, you can often access priority lanes or speak to a manager to request a priority token to skip long queues, and some centers offer dedicated feeding rooms. To make the visit smoother, avoid bringing a stroller as space is limited, and bring baby-safe hand sanitizer and wipes to clean your baby’s hands immediately after they provide their fingerprints to avoid them ingesting the ink.
