FAQ Sleep 6-12 months1-2 years

What is the best way to help a baby sleep without constant night feeds?

Around 9 months, if your baby is eating solids during the day, they often don't need night feeds for hunger. If you are struggling with frequent wake-ups, try to distinguish between hunger and comfort-seeking. Instead of offering the breast or bottle every time they stir, try soothing them through alternative methods like rocking, gentle tapping, or singing lullabies. This process can take about two weeks, but it helps the baby learn that they can settle back to sleep without nursing every single time.
