What items should I include in an emergency medical travel kit for an infant?

For an overseas trip, consult your pediatrician to compile a list tailored to your baby's specific needs, but common essentials include a digital thermometer, bandaids, and antiseptic ointment (like T-Bact or Neosporin). Include age-appropriate fever reducers (like paracetamol), a reliable remedy for stomach bugs (like Enterogermina), and plenty of Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) sachets. Because sourcing familiar versions of these medicines can be difficult abroad, carry an adequate supply and keep them easily accessible in your hand luggage.
