When is the right time to start forward-facing in a baby carrier?

Most experts recommend waiting until your baby has consistent, strong head control and can sit up independently before facing them forward in a carrier. While many babies show an interest in the world earlier, forcing them into a seated position before they are developmentally ready isn't recommended. If you're unsure, keep them inward-facing until they reach these physical milestones to ensure their spine and neck are properly supported.
