Nanny share with backup support included in contract.

Local mum group with willing reciprocal arrangements - 'I'll have your sick kid if you'll have mine next time'.

Sick care services exist (Yoopies) but pricey at £25/hr.

Bubble Sitter app - emergency vetted sitters at short notice. Expensive but works.
