Sleep training methods - which one actually worked for you?

7mo, multiple wakes, fed/rocked to sleep every time. Considering CIO, Ferber, gentle methods. Real experiences please?

Honestly we waited and at 14 months he just started sleeping through. No training. Not a magic answer but worth knowing.
Ferber (timed checks) - first night was 40 min of crying, second night 10 min, third night 2 min. Slept through by night 5.
PUPD (pick up put down) was a nightmare for us - just stimulated him more.
Chair method - took 2 weeks but no crying alone. I sat next to crib and gradually moved further away.
Taking Cara Babies has a free Instagram with tons of info before you pay for the course.
Sleep training the wake-ups vs sleep training falling asleep are different. The latter often fixes the former.
We did extinction (full CIO) at 9mo because we were broken. 3 nights and done. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it but it worked for us.
