How are you all surviving on broken sleep? Real talk.

Almost 4 months in and I have not had a stretch longer than 3 hours since baby was born. I see posts about "self-care" and honestly I can't even brush my teeth most days. What actually helps when you can't sleep-train yet and the partner is also working? Looking for honest, doable things — not "take a bubble bath".

Honestly? Splitting the night in shifts saved us. Partner did 9pm-2am, I did 2am-7am. Each of us got one solid 5-hour block. Not perfect but a different universe from waking every 2 hours all night.

Lower the bar on everything else. Disposable plates for a week. Grocery delivery. Dry shampoo. Nap when baby naps even if the house is a mess. The 4-month mark was the absolute worst for me and it does get better around 5-6 months ❤️
