Healthy snacks for the car - low mess

Toddler needs snacks for the car. Currently we live on rice cakes and they're a starch bomb. Better options?

Cheerios or Weetabix Minis - low mess, low sugar.
Apple slices (won't brown if you toss in a tiny bit of lemon).
Dehydrated fruit - mango, apple, banana chips. Cake-y but better than rice cakes.
Wholemeal crackers with sliced cheese.
Fruit pouches - love them or hate them. Convenient.
