Can I give my baby cold foods?

Yes, cold foods do not cause colds or respiratory infections; such illnesses are caused by viruses, not by the temperature of the food your baby eats. While very cold items might cause mild, temporary throat irritation, they are generally safe and can be quite soothing for a teething baby. Feel free to incorporate chilled snacks like fruit or smoothies into their diet, especially during warmer weather.
