Can specific foods cause colds in babies?

There is no scientific evidence that foods like bananas or pomegranates cause colds in infants. When your baby has a mild cold, you can continue to offer nutritious foods like chicken or vegetable soups seasoned with a little ginger and pepper, which can be soothing. Foods rich in Vitamins A and C, such as papaya, carrot, or orange, are also excellent for supporting their immune system while they recover.
