FAQ Feeding 6-12 months

How can I ensure my baby stays hydrated when they are reluctant to drink water?

It is very common for babies to be uninterested in water when they first start solids. You can encourage them by modeling the behavior and letting them watch you drink from your own cup. Some parents find success using specific straw-based sipper bottles that are easier for babies to use. Remember that breast milk or formula continues to provide significant hydration, so keep offering water consistently, and eventually, they will pick up the habit.
