FAQ Health 6-12 months

How can I help my baby recover from a cold and a persistent cough?

For babies under one year, honey is unsafe and should never be given due to the risk of botulism. Instead, focus on comfort: use saline drops to clear nasal passages, keep the baby in an upright position to minimize post-nasal drip, and use a cool mist humidifier if your environment is dry. Cough suppressants are not recommended, so prioritize contact naps and follow your pediatrician's guidance. If your baby is over six months, consult your doctor about the annual influenza vaccine.
