How can I manage a baby who bites during breastfeeding?

Biting is often a result of teething or exploration, and it is natural for it to feel painful. When it happens, calmly but firmly say 'no biting' or 'biting hurts' with a neutral face, avoiding high-pitched reactions that the baby might find entertaining. If the behavior persists, end the feeding session for a moment to set a boundary. Offering teething toys or a cold, clean finger to chew on before the feed can help soothe their gums and satisfy their urge to bite.
