How do I handle summer constipation in toddlers?

Summer heat commonly reduces stool frequency in toddlers even when diet is unchanged. Hydration is more important than fibre in this case. Offer homemade juice twice a day, cold milkshakes, coconut water, and buttermilk. Raisins in the morning help. Keep water accessible throughout the day. If stool is hard despite adequate fibre, increase fluid intake significantly. When stool stays longer in the system it hardens further, creating a vicious cycle — so addressing hydration early prevents escalation.
