FAQ Feeding 6-12 months

How do I introduce solid foods to my baby if they have a sensitive gut?

For babies with sensitive guts or suspected allergies, start with simple, single-ingredient foods like watery rice or moong dal, and cooked, mashed fruits like pear or papaya. Introduce only one new food at a time, spacing them out over 3-4 days to monitor for reactions like rashes or changes in stool. Avoid over-complicating meals with many ingredients early on, and consider avoiding exotic fruits until the gut is more stable. If your baby dislikes purees, try hand-mashed textures once they are ready.
