Is a mild fever and teething related?

It is common for parents to notice a slight rise in temperature (around 37.4°C or 99.3°F) when a baby is teething. However, while some irritability and mild temperature fluctuations can occur during tooth eruption, significant fevers or signs of distress should be evaluated by your pediatrician to rule out other infections or illnesses.
