Is it normal for a baby's stool to be green?

Green-colored stool is very common in infants and is usually not a cause for concern, provided the baby is otherwise acting normally and not showing signs of illness. It can be caused by the specific vegetables in their diet, the speed of digestion, or the balance of breast milk intake. If your baby is happy and meeting milestones, a color change alone is rarely a reason to worry.
