Is it okay for a six-month-old to refuse a bottle when I return to work?
It is common for breastfed babies to resist bottles. To encourage the transition, have a caregiver—not the breastfeeding parent—offer the bottle while you remain completely out of sight. Experiment with different bottle types, nipple flows, or even a sipper or cup. Most importantly, try to stay calm; your baby can sense your stress, and eventually, most babies adapt through persistence and patience.
