Is mucus in my toddler's stool always a sign of CMPA?

Not every instance of mucus in stool is linked to CMPA; it can also be caused by teething, a stomach bug (tummy bug), or the stool passing through the gut more quickly than usual. If the mucus occurs once or twice but the child is active, eating well, and shows no other symptoms like blood or severe rashes, it may not be cause for concern. However, if the mucus is excessive, persistent, or accompanied by blood or irritability, consult your pediatrician about potential dietary adjustments or the use of probiotics.
