Maintaining personal time while exclusively breastfeeding

It is completely normal to feel tied down during the early months of breastfeeding, but you don't have to sacrifice your identity or social life. Many parents find success by either introducing a bottle—even occasionally—to allow for a partner to assist, or by embracing public breastfeeding using a cover if that makes you feel more comfortable. Remember that breastfeeding gets easier as your baby grows, and you can eventually feed on the go while doing activities you enjoy. Prioritize your mental health by carving out small windows for yourself, even if it’s just 30 minutes away, as these moments are essential for recharging.
