Managing baby's middle-of-the-night playtime
It is common for infants around 4 to 5 months to experience sleep disruptions as they hit developmental milestones or sleep regressions. To encourage better rest, ensure your baby gets plenty of natural light and tummy time during the day, and consider keeping total daytime naps to three hours or less. Some parents find that allowing the baby some 'kick time' or floor play before the final evening feed helps expend energy. Remember that these phases are often temporary and usually subside once your baby masters new skills like rolling or crawling.
