Addressing sleep interruptions and overstimulation

If your 5-6 month old is waking frequently at night, check if they are getting overstimulated during the day. A baby’s developing nervous system can be unsettled by constant activity, noise, or too many people, which often leads to poor sleep. Try incorporating 'alone play' time in a calm environment, limit intense stimulation late in the afternoon, and consider a consistent pre-bedtime routine like a massage or bath to help regulate their system.
