Baby's milk intake dropped since starting solids: is it okay?

It is very common for breast milk or formula intake to fluctuate when you first introduce solids. For the first few days or weeks, your baby is just learning the mechanics of eating and discovering new textures, so they may take less milk. As long as your baby is still meeting their diaper output goals and remains alert, there is usually no need to worry; simply follow their lead and offer feeds on demand as you both adjust to this new phase.
