FAQ FeedingSelf-Care 0-3 months

My newborn wants to eat every hour; is my breast milk enough?

Frequent feeding is very common during growth spurts, especially in the first few weeks, and it is the primary way babies signal your body to increase milk supply. While it is exhausting, try to nurse on demand as much as possible to establish this supply. If you feel you need extra rest, some parents opt to introduce a formula top-up or an expressed milk bottle for one feed, provided you pump during that time to maintain your supply signals.
