Should I be worried if my baby is grinding their teeth?
It is very common for babies and toddlers to experiment with teeth grinding as they discover their new teeth and oral capabilities. Often, they are simply exploring the sound and sensation rather than feeling pain or discomfort. Unless your child shows signs of distress, it is usually a passing phase; however, if you are concerned about enamel wear, you can briefly distract them with a toy or a chewable teether to encourage different oral play.
