Should I feed my baby during hiccups?

Hiccups are generally harmless for babies. While some prefer to wait until they pass, many mothers find that nursing or bottle-feeding effectively settles their baby's hiccups. If your baby is not distressed, you don't need to do anything, but if they are irritable and hungry, offering a feed is perfectly fine.
