Tips for toddler meltdowns

Meltdowns are a normal part of development as toddlers learn to express frustration. Try to stay calm and project a regulated energy, as they often mirror our emotions. Use distraction to redirect their focus, and if needed, step away for a minute to keep yourself calm. A warm bath can sometimes serve as a "reset" button for their nervous system if they are overstimulated.
