What are the common symptoms of a UTI in toddlers?

If your toddler is suddenly urinating more frequently at night without any associated pain, discomfort, or urgency, it is often related to factors like room temperature, fluid intake, or growth spurts rather than a urinary tract infection. Signs of a UTI typically include pain or discomfort during urination, frequent small voids accompanied by distress, or an unexplained fever. If your child is only experiencing increased volume at night, consider sizing up their diaper, switching to a tape-style diaper for a better fit, or limiting fluids shortly before bedtime.
